Business Decisions – Making Progress

If you're struggling with a business decision, making a decision, any decision is usually better than holding out for the perfect option.

I am currently reading REWORK by Jason Fried and David Heinmeier Hansson. They formed the company 37signals that created the project management software called Basecamp.

The book itself is very good and challenges some conventional business thinking. We at The Business Therapist® like that too!

One section is called ‘making the call is making progress’. The point, which I totally agree with, is that making a decision, any decision is usually better than holding out for the perfect option.

Making a decision? Here’s what you need to do:

It’s not actually whether you pick Option A or Option B that matters as much as what you do once you decide to take action. It is how you implement either choice that will make it a good or bad decision. In other words, ‘pick one and then get on with it!’
