Is your business good on Google?
I recently spoke to a group of business owners about Google for Business, and I was surprised that so many of these entrepreneurs did not understand its importance.
What’s Google for Business?
Google My Business is a free and easy-to-use tool for businesses and organizations to manage their online presence across Google, including Search and Maps. By verifying and editing your business information, you can both help customers find you and tell them the story of your business.
Why is Google for Business important?
Google is the most popular search engine in the world and ensuring that your business information is accurate is paramount. Because a lot of this information is crowd-sourced based on Google users’ input and feedback, it may or may not be correct.
Google also has a huge percentage of the mobile market share, so more and more existing and potential customers can find your business while on the go.
