Finding Business Inspiration for Business Growth

A simple conversation or an inspiring landscape can result in creative breakthroughs for your business. Be open to business inspiration.

Creative stimulus can occur in the strangest places.

A few years ago, I was visiting the Grand Canyon with my mother. In our conversation, we discussed the nursery school she runs back in my home town. We both came to an interesting revelation. To manage the safety and social behavior of a group of three-year-olds, she observes their behaviors, implements a program to modify or redirect the behaviors and then positively supports the redirected behavior until it becomes a learned skill.

Her programs have a very high success rate.

I was fortunate to have an engaging dialog with my mom in one of most beautiful environments on earth and I discovered an avenue for more research development. You see, the process she uses is very similar to small business coaching and advisory.

Who would have thought this interaction would have inspired an interest that could lead to great things? I am now undertaking further research to see if her programs could be useful and applied to small business owner behaviors and skills development. This just might be the big breakthrough I have been looking for.

Where do you get your creative stimulus? What positive impact has it had on your business?
